The CWARE.SDK file is a shrinked DOS 3.3 diskette. It has Novation's Com-Ware II (rev5.1) and the _maybe_ fixed DeafWare II stuff. There is also a Text file reader. (Rats! reminds me, the copy of Com-Ware II came with a MESSAGES file which contains some rude language. Meant to change the stupid thing. Okay; I've deleted the garbage from MESSAGES and will send the new CWARE.SDK file.) Evidently, Com-Ware II and DeafWare II are programs which work only with Novation's AppleCat cards; so, there is no way for me to check out these programs. (We have a regular A2 serial card in the II+.) When the disk is booted, the user will have a choice of starting three programs: Com-Ware II, DeafWare II, and the Text file reader. Probably, it is best to start Com-Ware II and use to [R]econfigure option to set things up-- i.e. set the 103 characteristics and 212 characteristics and Terminal characteristics, ..., and save to disk. This will create a new I/O COMMAND FILE. Perhaps the user will want to try out Com-Ware II. To try out DeafWare II, turn Off the computer, insert the diskette, and turn On the computer to boot the disk. This time, choose DWARE2. Try it out. (DeafWare II uses the I/O COMMAND FILE created earlier. I do not know if DeafWare II allows changing this file.)
