Information About Files


ShrinkIt files- These are .sdk whole-disk archives. The files end with
 "sdk.bin". Use 8-bit ShrinkIt to unshrink to a 5.25" diskette on an Apple II.

Disk Image files- These have two .dsk files inside a .zip archive. They end with
 "dsk.zip". Use WinZIP or a similar utility to uncompress the files.

I. Merlin for 48k or larger Apple II's

MERLINDOS disks 1&2  (1984)

This is the original Merlin.
Runs under DOS 3.3


II. Merlin for 128k or larger Apple II's

MERLINPRO disks 1&2  v2.54  (1986)
Runs under ProDOS

MERLIN8DOS disks 1&2  part of Merlin8 package (1987)
Runs under DOS 3.3

MERLIN8PRO disks 1&2  v2.57  part of Merlin8 package (1987)
