Let's see ... Apple says/implies that it will lay off Bernie and doesn't squish a third party download site offering its proprietary ROM code-- and you say Apple is not permitting copyright infringement?! It's easy to put on blinders when someone you like or a product you like is involved, isn't it? Well, I like old Swiss Cheese Henrik and Bernie, too. It would be nice to see Henrik level with Bernie users. We are not talking about admitting infringement. Actually, his saying anything about Apple expressions of support is probably not a good idea-- that sort of thing is supposed to be something everyone knows without being told. (If you go around posting messages about emails from Apple saying they love to have you promote ripping off their ROM code, Apple may be forced to end the infringement in order to protect proprietary rights.) No, what I'm talking about is putting an end to bashing-- in fact, supporting-- sites and users who engage in the same kind of win-win infringement which makes Bernie possible and contributes to the enjoyment of II computing. Like, since you have a link to a ROM download site, include links to popular .2MG and .dsk archive sites, too. In short, sell your product and let your customers know that they are not "thieves" and "pirates" if they download .2MG games to enjoy using it. Rubywand
