     It would be great if Texas2, SS2, 'Blossom, and Juiced' could combine to form
a single for-real bi-monthly Apple II magazine.

     One of the reasons someone subscribes to a user magazine is technical
information. A more important reason is to have an attractive hardcopy reference
for 'what's going on'-- including tech info, projects, news, opinion,
entertainment, and advertisements.

     Getting 'everything' in one place is important because the magazine has
broader appeal, attracts more readers, and attracts advertisers. At some point,
you attract new readers just because you have so many readers and have become the
hub of the user community-- the flagship publication.


     Combining the current major A2 publications would not be easy-- mainly, those
participating would need to agree upon a fair split. Once this were achieved, a
way to start would be to just offer the publications as a group for a reasonable
subscription price and have a central point where the issues are banded together
and sent to subscribers. In time, there might be a way to combine the issues
inside a single cover and name.

     For users, the benefit would be a real A2 magazine. Meanwhile, publishers
would split costs (mainly mailing at first), sell more issues, and attract more
advertisers.

GS WorldView Editor's Note:  This is a great concept that could solidify the A2
world in a fashion it's needed for a long time.  But, it's a DREAM. However,
sometimes DREAM'S DO COME TRUE.  Time will tell and as a good friend of mine in
Germany - who does all he possibly can to support the needs of the A2 users, so
often says...."WE SHALL SEE".

Keep your fingers crossed and HOPE!  Miracles can happen!
