Easiest way to tell: if you bought it new, and didn't add one, then it doesn't have one. If you got it second-hand, then it is a little bit trickier. The card goes onto a connector which is hidden from view in the area underneath the print head assembly. (If you know where the DIP switches are: it is to the right of them, under the white plastic.) You can unscrew the cover to see whether there is any card installed. Another possibility: if you run the self-test, it may print out something relevant about installed options.
