Yes; "Into the Eagle's Nest" from Mindscape is a very well done double-hires game-- sort of a super 'Castle Wolfenstein'. (It's available on the ACN sites at ... ftp://24.96.48.134:6502/Cabi_Archives/Games/8bit/EaglesNest/ ftp://tarnover.dyndns.org/cabi/Games/8bit/EaglesNest/ . Might and Magic II is another game which uses double-hires to good advantage. So do Air Heart, the King's Quest adventures, Wind Walker, and Dragon Wars-- my favorite DHR adventure. By the way, the IIgs and the emulators I've tried do just a fair job on rendering double-hires. It looks _much_ better on an Apple II connected to a decent composite color monitor. Below is a listing of Apple II games which are entirely or mainly in double-hires. Air Heart Death Sword Dragon Wars Ikari Warriors II Into the Eagle's Nest King's Bounty King's Quest Maniac Mansion Might & Magic II Rampage Robocop Star Trek: First Contact Strategic Conquest Thexder Universe II Wind Walker Rubywand
