Excuse me, Appleworks 5 does not exist on ground.ecn, never has, and never will until it is released as public domain, freeware, or shareware. Are you trying to provoke another flamewar? Ground has never allowed commercial software. Accusations of piracy were never true, and started by persons for malicious reasons. I am open to disagreement about what is and isn't commercial, but Appleworks has never been in dispute. Enough said. What is on the ground is the public release of the update program for appleworks 5.0 to 5.1 (or was it 4.3 to 5.0?) Read the file Mirrors/caltech/addons/patches/aw51.update.txt . Also, Penman, please include a valid email address and preferably a real name in your posts. It is rude of me to chastise you in a public forum, but you provide no alternatives. Do not be so ashamed of you are. Most people on csa2 are willing to help you even if they did know your true identity. Also, if you have a concern about a file on the ground apple2 archive, perhaps you could contact me privately by e-mail first, before making an erroneous public statement. 'Saves face' as the saying goes. I hope the rest of your day goes better than this! --Steve -- --Steve (apple2pd@ground.ecn.uiowa.edu)
