Hewlett-Packard set up a facility in Tailand to produce Hewlett-Packard designed printer called Apollo. A certain Apple II publication and publisher stated that the price would be about $79.00 US. That was wrong. The "Rite-Aid" stores advertized on 8/29/99 that the Apollo P-1200 color inkjet printer was on sale at $49.99 US. That is a amazing price for a a new color inkjet Printer by Hewlett-Packard for use with the IIgs. And, it has a full guarantee from HP and color. Upon calling several of the Rite-Aid stores locally to get varification on the price it should be noted that the actual price the Apollo P-1200 sells for from them is $89.95. After you purchase it you can send in a rebate form for a $50 rebate from Hewlett-Packard which in effect gives you the Apollo P-1200 color inkjet printer for under $40 actually. Also please note that nation-wide, some of the Rite-Aid stores have it in stock for retail sales while others are out of stock currently due the the large number of sales and customer demand for this printer. Also note that the Apollo P-1200 inkjet Printer by Hewlett-Packard is the exact same printer as the DeskJet 420c and so is the Barbie printer. by the way, the DJ 420c, the Apollo-1200 and the Barbie printer are all fully IIgs compatible. So, in the final review of the above information related it seems you can actually get the Apollo P-1200 color inkjet printer from Rite-Aid stores with your final cost being under $40, after rebate.
