FYI. I was able to borrow a IIe card manual, and according to the manual,
you can attach an external SCSI HD that was set up for the IIe but you have
to set it up using the Macintosh system running under the IIe emulator, and
you can only set it up to use 10meg partitions.  Apparently, this will allow
it to run on both the IIe and the Mac, so files can be dumped to the
external drive, and then moved to the IIe computer that way.

I'll give it a try this weekend, and post a further update on what I find.
