To BOTH Jeff's :)  For a really good prospective of the abandonware - (YES,
there is such a word and term) - movement concerning Apple II software you
should check the listing of those that support such things!

A reference   list derived from the abandoneware support project - found from

It is rather lengthy!!!  Do check it out to get a fairly good view of
the thoughts on 'abandonware' from the LONG listing of those 
who have made their views know with the signing of the petition.

It's a very enlightening and impressive public list of supporters
to read and review.
