I am not a MacOS guru, obviously ;-) I'd put 7.1.1 on the centris, it's out there if you look for it. System 7.1 is a little easier to find and pretty much the same. Don't bother with 7.5+ if you are going to use the centris as a server, i personally don't like running it on anything less than power pc. It is too full of things you don't really use that will slow it down. If you want some newer features found in 7.5+ install desktop printing from apple. It updates your finder (7.5), adds drag and drop, clipping, and desktop printing of course. doug
