It depends on what you plan on using them for. I have several favorites. 1) Kegs running on Linux. This is the one I use most. 2) ApplePC for MsDos or other variants including FreeDos. I use this one for the full screen mode. It is a great system but has a few bugs. The worst, IMHO is the keyboard. It sometimes returns the last key pressed instead of the current key. This could be dangerous for game characters. :-( Yet another reason I use this one, it works under the DosEmu program in Linux. It also runs under FreeDos which would allow creating a DEXE which is a self contained Dos application usable in Linux. 3) Apple Oasis for Windows. This is a great system. It is one of the few reason I use Windows. This may well be the most configurable emulator around. At least for the PC. My only complaint, the Apple graphics are difficult to view in a window. It has recently gotten a full screen mode, but it may not work for everyone. It didn't work on my VooDoo card, but it works fine on my ATI AGP card. It also comes with some very useful utilities such as the Disk Manager among others. Note, it is shareware and is still supported by the author. There are others such as Applewin, Appler, etc. For more info, see the FAQ's at http://home.swbell.net/rubywand/ -- Thank you for your time and interest. I hope it was helpful or at least interesting.
