Wish I'd had this util when I first started, getting Binscii and Shrinkit going on my first IIc was tough. For anyone with a suitable Mac, this util will allow you to download Apple II files on a PC or Mac, then extract and transfer them to a 800K ProDos disk. I have a Color Classic with a IIe card and a ProDos partition, I would guess that I can use Shrink II to extract Shrinkit archives to the ProDos partition, then copy them from the ProDos partition to a 5.25" floppy attached to the IIe card. The Color Classic is hard to find, but other Macs with an LC slot (LC, LC II/III, even some 040 models) are very cheap and plentiful. The IIe card seems fairly common (schools bought them in the 90's and are surplusing them now). This solves one of the tougher problems, easily getting downloads off the net and onto your Apple II, even onto 5.25" disks. Cool! -Paul
