ADTPro by David Schmidt ref file ADTPro_007.zip Apple Disk Transfer ProDOS (ADTPro) is a pair of communications programs that enable the transfer of physical or logical disk images between Apple ][-era computers and the modern world. If you're familiar with the original ADT, ADTPro extends ADT's reach by working with more disk formats and drive types than the original. ADTPro offers: - Compatibility with Super Serial Card up to 115,200 BPS - Compatibility with the Apple IIgs serial (modem) port up to 115,200 BPS - Compatibility with anything ProDOS can read - Compatibility with any Apple ][ (or clone) computer with 64k memory - Compatibility with many diskette/disk image formats: .DSK, .PO, .NIB, 2IMG - Server compatibility with original ADT client program - Ability to change working directory on the fly ADTPro may be used to transer either Apple DOS or ProDOS diskette/disk images. The Apple client side happens to run under ProDOS, but it is perfectly capable of reading or writing Apple DOS (or Pascal, or CPM, or...) diskettes. See the README file for installation details. I wrote ADTPro, which is a descendant of ADT. It runs under ProDOS, and so can read, write and transfer disk images of arbitrary size. Any block-oriented device is fair game. It runs on any Apple II with 64k RAM, and is compatible with the Apple SSC card as well as the Apple IIgs native modem port at 115kbps. I'm currently working on Uthernet support, but that's not generally available. The host end is written in Java, so it can run on a broad range of platforms that have Java serial support - including Unixes, OSX, Windows, etc. It can be downloaded at http://adtpro.sourceforge.net.
