QuickPort CDA ref. file QuickPortCDA.zip After downloading, unzip using WinZIP or a similar utility. Resulting file is QUICKPORT.SHK After transferring QUICKPORT.SHK to your Apple IIgs, unShrink using GS.ShrinkIt ("GSHK", "ShrinkIt.GS", ...). Freeware (send money if you want) This CDA can be used to boost the IIgs to 57,600 baud through either port. Proterm can handle Ymodem transfers at 57.6 with no errors if used with a transwarp GS. Get into proterm (or whatever) and let it initialize the modem port. Go to QuickPort and change the baud rate to 38.4 or 57.6 Baud rate will stay the same unless port is re-initialized or baud rate is changed by firmware. NOT meant to initialize the ports, this program merely changes the SCC baud rate constant. Home addr: Derek Taubert 8 Chestnut Court Clinton, IL 61727-2427 School addr: 402 S.
