NEOTTIANTHE CUCULLATA
E: Pink Frog Orchid
G: Kapuzen-Nacktdruese

Not much is known about this more asiatic species which can be found rarely in east Europe, mainly Poland and Russia. You can find it in China and Japan, too.

The species has been described as a Gymnadenia in older books, but it has different, Neottia-like blossoms which form a "hood". This feature has given this orchid its name.

It grows in various forests. I have never seen it offered for garden culture.
