Final thoughts...

I have just distributed 200 paper copies of the main anti-terror page from this website in my local Benjamin Franklin village, Mannheim, Germany.

I have thought about doing this several days. I expected that I am going to forge a very hot iron but I knew that I had to do this. The negative emotions in the world and especially in the USA are currently very strong. One soldier said he does not agree but he respects my opinion and my worries that Bush will go farther than he must. One demonstratively brought me back two crumbled leaflets. But many others told me that they liked what I wrote.

I see great evil coming to the whole world if the negative forces cannot be distracted and turned into a more constructive approach. If I criticise something, I like to do it in a constructive way and here are my ideas for the future:

Security:

• Airplanes should be made more safe with devices which check the identity of the pilot. These devices can be used to block access to the cockpit and to allow only the two pilots of the airplanes to control it. Here we can choose between passwords, voice recognition, face recognition, retina scans or a combination of several others, there should be plenty of examples from the military security systems.

• Guarded anti-aircraft guns can be installed on some taller buildings of the big cities. Civil planes will have to avoid the airspace directly above the central cities or they risk to be shot down. This perimeter defense can block hijacked airplanes if it is necessary to avoid greater damage.

• Armed security persons in disguise can travel along with the passengers and intervene when needed.

• Economic sanctions are a good substitute for war. Countries which don't care about human rights can be cut off by increased border patrols. Refugee camps near the borders of these countries can be a safe haven for people who flee from the system. These camps can be hosted by several nations together and be the first place to fight prejudices.

• Some countries export drugs so anti-drug campaigns and increased drug controls in airports and harbours can do some financial damage, too.

• Many islamic nations are open to the west and there should be much cultural exchange. The different religions are only different ways to express humanistic thoughts. Sometimes I visit a church to pray and sometimes I make a quiet prayer in a mosque. Radical groups with inhumane tenets should be treated like racistic groups, they should be forbidden.

• It is important for each country, regardless of the religion to teach humanistic thoughts and to encourage people to expose these persons who act inhumane. Undercover agents can be trained by the police of the different countries. Translation of foreign books and movies of humanistic book authors can teach that other cultures don't eat small children, too.

• In countries where an inhumane dictatorship already has been established, economic pressure can be combined with building the local resistance. Special underground anti-terror forces can sabotage equipment or capture political leaders. An assassination of persons in extreme situations should never be official and legal.

• An open war should always be avoided. The attacks will almost certainly hit innocent civilians and fuel the hate against foreign cultures.

But the biggest thanks go to the man who has told me that he has just lost three relatives in the WTC terror strike and he thinks I wrote the truth nevertheless.
